35"+ Wintertyres

Yeah, I know about the Arctic Truck tyres, but they come in "icelandic" sizes.
It´s really difficult to find anything in 35" for a 16" rim or 315/...R16 :(

I was told about an canadian brandbut sadly forgot to write it down. They were supposed to have this size of real winter tyre.

Other than that I got a recommendation for the "Toyo Open Country AT W - 315/75 R16 121Q", but sofar I havn´t met anyone who´s had them on his truck.

The Nokian Vatiiva is only available in the US, which would mean shipping 8 of them back to Europe, but I couldn´t get a quote from them yet.

So long & thanx for the advice,

Robert

I have no personal experience with them, but the Goodyear Duratrac's come in a 315/75R16, are pinned for use with studs, and have the mountain snowflake/severe snow rating.

As a side note, I wasn't that impressed with the Toyo A/T's in the 235/85R16 size in snow. I much prefer the Toyo M55's I run on my truck now.

Yokohama produces the Geolander I/T snow tire in 315/75R16. My father and brother in law use these in stock sizes on their Toyotas, they work well.
