35s on a Chevy Silverado

Hey guys. I’m relatively new here. I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado currently with a leveling kit and some 33s. I bought the truck with this set up and it looks ok. I want to eventually build this truck into my dream rig for weekend getaways and mountain biking adventures. I would love to be able to stuff 35s under it. Does anyone have an experience with this body style and making this work without having to put a monster lift on the truck? I wouldn’t mind a nice 3” lift but that would be my limit. Thanks for any help or direction you fine people can provide!

You can fit 35s under any late model 4x4 full size with just a level and the right wheels and some trimming.

I'm not sure 16's fit on any full-size Chevy trucks made in the last decade.

I know for 07-13 GM half tons you can look up ‘norcal fender mod’ for a procedure to fit 35s with a level kit. I’m not certain if the same can be done for 14+ trucks I’d guess you could.

I’ll be doing that fender mod to mine probably later this year to fit 34s or 35s when my current tires wear out. I know there are a few others here who have done something similar if you search for Silverado builds.

You have more room in a 14 Silverado with a level kit and should be able to fit 35s with minimal trimming. More trimming if you run bigger offset. The trim jobs on these trucks can be done very cleanly and tastefully to the point that no one notices that it's trimmed.

I have the Bilstien 5100 leveling kit for my '15 with 285/75/17 33.8"x11.2" and I would not want to go any bigger. I will probably do a 285/70/17 next time around. I did not want to trim anything.

Look into "NorCal fender mod". It is your best route unless u really want a lift.
