35x12.50x17 Alternative Tire Choice?

Wonder whats around that
Guys

Running Cepek 35x12.50x17 on the Brute right now.

Noisy, rough riding and a bit too wide as i am having a bit of rub on the front sway bar at full over on the steering wheel. Can anyone offer some alternatives? I will be doing mostly desert and tarmac to get there, so a non mud tire would be best for my needs.

Thanks

******** Cepek makes 4 different tires that are available as 35's for 17's. Which set do you have that you find to be noisy?

To keep the tires from rubbing the sway bar at full steering lock, don't turn all the way. Or adjust the steering stops to limit your max steering angle. Or use some wheel spacers or different wheels with more appropriate backspacing.

But if you want to change tires, based on your type of terrain you might want to consider the new BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 which is available as a 34x10.5R17

Great traction in snow/sand, but not that stable on hiwy--OK--not perfect and not real noisy

Not quite as good in sand, but super if you have to drive anywhere--hiwy great and low noise-
All my sand travel is at 28/30 psi-I haven't had to air down-yet, maybe I'll have to with the new BFGs-
Good luck
