Boots question

I would buy the best boots available, would you shop around for a cheap laser eye surgeon?

so can you tell us what exactly is the best boot available? i have seen boots as much as $600 but i doubt you have them, yet that advise would lead me to believe those are the ones to get. also for Rex and any others, can you add to your reply as to what makes say a $250 dollar boot SAFER than a $150 boot of similar design? in my experience about the only difference is the comfort and style goes up with $$. i think we all know a $60 boot is cheap, but when you hit about the $120 mark you are getting a good boot.

I once hooked a lace on a peg and fell over at a stop because I couldn't free my foot in time to hold the bike up -The "I looked like such a ************** factor", if nothing else, motivated me not to wear boots with laces on a bike again).
