Like that idea - will try to set up in my OverCamp...

It is a PITA to set up though.
You have to get the support arms just right, or they fall out.

If someone were to produce a shelf system that would work where you could attach it easily to the scissors lift, I would buy one.

All the newer Maggiolina and Columbus models have an elastic cargo net across the ceiling at the foot end of the tent. These will keep clothes and other bulky items up out of the way, but near to hand.

Would love the details on this too, if it could be retrofitted.

Yes it is.
Just for an emergency.
One drawback to a roof top tent.

Got to try out the bottle in August, and I really do not like it.
It is almost better throwing on some sandals and going down the ladder.
Not much worse than getting up in the middle of the night when I use to backpack and have to climb out of a warm sleeping bag and unzip the door and screen.

I agree, the climbing the ladder part is only a minor extra annoyance compared to the rest of the middle-of-the-night bathroom break whilst camping in a tent. One more reason not to drink. ;)

Here's mine in action this past summer. It's the extreme version and has the cargo net and the storage pockets near the door. Absolutely no problems with storing stuff even when there is two people in it. It's spending the winter suspended from the roof of a buddy's garage!

Closed in Moab......somewhere.
