3rd Gen Transfer Case - Need Info!

I'm trying to figure out if lower transfer case gears will fit...

The 3rd Gen Montero had a manual shift transfer case behind the 4 speed transmission. Then they switched to a motor operated transfer case with the 5 speed transmission. My truck is a 2003 3.8L, 5 speed, motor tcase.

My understanding after emailing Marks4WD is that the transfer case may not be the same internally. He says they never received the motor operated case in Australia. Does anyone know about these?

I'd really like to get some lower tcase gears. The stock crawl ratio / transfer case gears are horrible in technical terrain.

Not that the dealer would be any help but you could compare part numbers of the actual gears. Or PM lordtrunks on 4x4wire.com he would be able to look that up.

Adventure Time!
Here's the info I have so far:

The 3rd Gen Auto aftermarket low range gears are: 24t and 26.5mm diameter
My case is a 3rd Generation Tcase w/ electronic motor. The early 3rd Gens had the same case/transmission as the 2nd Gen trucks. Specs look right yet the install guide clearly shows a tcase shift lever and Marks4WD says they don't have gears for this tcase. Sure looks like they have what I need tho...
