40-Series Speedo Assmebly

Is it possible to get an FJ40/45 speedo/odometer assembly with the 'actual' vehicle mileage from Toyota or other retailer? I know you can do this with digital odometers but am not sure about analog.

I use ********'s Speed-O-Tach in Phoenix for any speedometer/odometer work. If you get a replacement odometer for your vehicle, he will set the mileage for you, along with calibrating your speedometer if he has the whole vehicle there. He does the certifications for Arizona State Patrol, City of Phoenix, etc. speedometers so he is on the up and up.

Seriously they are very easy to change with the cluster removed from the dash. Check with your particular state re: legality, in Utah its a non-issue as any FJ40 will have a "mileage beyond mechanical limit of speed" on the title. Due to the fact early clusters only went to 99,999.9 miles, pretty rare that one is under.
