1st Gen Tundra/T-100 bed dimensions

I'm just wondering how similar the 1st generation Tundra bed dimensions are compared to that of a T-100. From a distance they look pretty close, but not having messed with a T, I'm just guessing.

The reason I'm wondering is 'cause I'm in the middle of dealing on a nice T for my daughter's first ride. I have a spare tonneau cover off the Tundra and will probably getting a different style of cap for it too and will have the old one available; these accessories would sweeten the T-100 deal even more for us. The T is abit aways from us so I can't get any measurements to confirm my questions.

So will bed accessories off a Tundra fit a T-100? If you folks could help me out, I'd appreciate it. Allison would definitely appreciate it, even though she's got no clue we're looking for a ride for her. Shhhh...it's a secret.

The topper I used to have on my T100, came off an xcab Tundra... perfect fit.

You want me to go out to the driveway with a tape measure...? Be happy to do that for the daughter of the Hagg -

Haggis,

If the cover is off of your double cab then the box dimensions may be different than the extended cab Tundras and T100s. I will go check my box dimensions and report back after supper.

The T100s are great trucks. Perfect blend of old school Toyota toughness and size.

Thanks KC for confirming my guessamations. I had a feeling I could count on your input and knowledge. If we end up getting the truck we'll name it in your honor!

The bed dimensions as far as width and length are exactly the same between the DC and AC. The only diffenece between the two beds is that the DC model's bed is about 3" (or there abouts) deeper than the AC models.

Thank you Brian. That's mighty neighborly of you.

Haggis,

My T-100 bed is 78" long x 67" wide measuring from the outside of the bed rails.

Hope that helps.

Sorry for the late reply.

Raising this thread up from the dead: so jealous that you not only got a good topper but a color-matched one as well...??? My search continues for a topper for my T100.

I wish I never sold my T100, I am on/off always looking for another one. I think they are one of the best vehicles HINO / Toyota ever made

I have both, bodies and bed ext cab, seem to be the same. The t100 was the early tundra but with a 5vz

The T-100 was engineered and assembled in Japan for the NA market and I assume subject to the 25% chicken tax for USA, Tundra is 75% +/- American parts and assembled in USA.
