1968 Overland Archives

I found two trips which I thought were pretty interesting... both dated back to 1968 and both completed the UK to Australia overland route.

Historical Overland trips are quite rare to find details on and I did battle to find anything on the grannies Trans-Asia trip.

Thanks for sharing that. I am sure there are a lot of historic expeditions documented only in a diary gathering dust on some shelf or a cardboard box full of mementos in someone's attic.

Documentation can be as much work as the expedition.
