:sombrero: here's a pair of 2.5 gal carriers and I can't find my receipt, but I think I got them from sportsmanguide.com, maybe the ATV section

The AT holder can be mounted in any orientation apart from upside down.

I beg to differ... I have seen a few mounted upside down... or were they mounted right ways up and the trailer was upside down, I can't remember

Honestly though, the AT can holder works great when mounted with the can laying on its back. You can either bolt it through the side, or through the newly acquired bottom (formerly the back). If you mount it to a flat surface on the bottom, you may need to space it up a bit to allow the strap to close.

I'm sure someone will chime in with some pics.

I have ammo cans mounted on my M416 in that spot were the fuel cans are on the green trailer. I don't think I would mount fuel or water cans there. After driving down muddy roads my cans were covered with so much mud I had trouble removing them. If a fuel can was there you might get dirt into your system when refueling from all the mud on the cans.

Hmmm the cheapo Blitz holders say they can hold a can horizontally, but I'm having a hard time picturing how that would work. Is the short side of a Blitz can the same length as the bottom?

LOL I did the same, and had a response the same day. Maybe because I have a Rover? :p

He said they can be locked with "a small padlock," which is good enough for me. I'm going to have to take some measurements to see if the can will be able to slide in and out past the grab handles on the M100. I'm not so sure it's going to work.
