5 speed swap on 04 Tundra

Curious if anyone has explored this possibility? When/if my 4 speed kicks the can would much prefer the 5 speed from the 05-06 if possible. Obviously some modifications necessary electronics wise but otherwise a straight bolt in! Want to squeeze every last (reliable) performance mod out of this thing. Gears and lockers coming in a few months as well.

05-06 has the vvti engine. Both engine and trans share an ecu. Not a possible swap.

Now the kicker. Hasn't been done before or not that I have heard but the land cruiser with the 4.7 has a 5 speed but no vvti. So my logic would be to rob a 5 speed from the land cruiser with no vvti and the ecu. Not sure how interchange it is this way but it's the closest you'll get going 5 speed. Unless you do a whole engine and trans swap from an 05-06
