Getting wheels powdercoated...what color?

According to Jongbloed Racing Wheels, apparently the correct answer is "don't." Powder coating is more flexible than paint, and can hide damage and cracks. They advise against powder coats.

Interesting food for thought there. That does make sense. Maybe I will find the time to paint them this summer then. I did see some pics of another tacoma with the wheels painted "Hammertone Black", and it looked really nice....

I went with semi-gloss on the FZJ80 wheels I got for my Taco last year. Our trucks aren't too far off in color so here is mine. I got Ebay center caps to install soon.

I have seen them on WRXs. Eeeeek! I don't care if its a "classic" thing for them.
