I was just wondering if there are any Swiss Portal members out there?

As many might now - and easy to tell by my screen name - I'm a Swiss expat, living now from quite some time in the US. If there are any Swiss planning to travel the US, don't hesitate to ask questions regarding the US seen with Swiss eyes.

And vice versa: If there is anybody here who plans on traveling to Switzerland, don't hesitate to give me a holler.

Cool! Do you still speak "Walliserdütsch"?

No, I have my family history documented back to 1328 and it took me almost a year to find someone here in the US to convert the book accurately to English. It is written in Walliserdütsch. :) We were known as the mountain men in the area. Only confirming my love for the outdoors, its in my blood.

What canton are you from?
