All I ever do these days is surf. But I rode for like both road and mtn for 12 years previous to becoming addicted to surfing.
I would really like to do something like this coming fall (surf season).
I've already picked out the boards I want to . These guys used mtn bikes with front suspension but I think fully rigid a steel cyclo-cross bike with 28cc tires and mustache handle bars would be more efficient since most of route is on hwy 1.
