New arrival! 13 5.4 E350 EB wagon that will be headed to the NE. Super nice rig that was local to us.

Does anyone know of a way to get LED taillights to work on a 2011? I tried led bulbs before, thinking I could use a digital flasher, but my 2011 doesn't use a flasher, it's controlled through the Smart Junction Box, so I'm not sure how to stop rapid flashing turn signals.

I'd like to do these LED lights, but not if I can't remedy the rapid flash. I'd prefer to avoid resistors, they defeat half the reason for LEDS, in my opinion.

We've done a bunch of these LED tail lights, no flasher issues.

V4 is finally road worthy! Sway bar, steering is dialed in, feels nice. May go with some stiffer springs but right now it needs miles before I take it to the Mid Atlantic Overland show in PA. EXCITED! 9 months downtime, hard to find the time to work on these projects when we have vans to build.

Driveshafts

Im working with my driveshaft guy but he has never seen a lifted van and isnt sure the length and angles involved.

About how long do these shafts end up? Obviously shorter than factory 2wd, but how much?

Double cardan joints or single joints on each end?

I already sourced a front Super Duty shaft and trying to figure out if it would just be easier to source a used 1 piece rear shaft too.

All conversions get a CV on the front, the truck shaft will need to be lengthened to work. 4" lifts can use a single joint/single joint in the rear, 6" & 8" need a CV at the t-case. We measure flanges and length at ride height before ordering .
