An article in Forbes says there are 55,000 applications
available for the iPhone in the iTunes online store today.
It would cost about $144,000 to purchase them all!

If you're short on cash this month, more than 12,000
of the 55,000 applications are free of charge.

wow thats alot of apps.

i only have like 10 apps in my iphone lol

Just in the last day or two RIM announced the have a 2000 apps in the Blackberry store. Some times Apple just does things right.

The Palm Pre has something like 20 apps in their store.
But that's before they released the development kit to
programmers. Maybe by this time next year we'll have
a good set of apps for the Pre.
