NOS Cibie super oscars worth?

I found a pair of NOS Cibie Super Oscars they are grey backs with the stainless trim surrounds, I know they are late 60's early 70's vintage and have never been mounted.

There is one guy on E-bay asking $1800 but the consensous if the guy is cracked. I know there is a market for someone restoring a vintage rig or should I just run them?

super oscars are awesome lights. i run 2 of them and there awesome. NOT 1800 bucks worth of awesome though, that guys been hittin the crack pipe way to hard in his time obviously

That price is crazy. I used to run Cibie sealed beam amber fog lights. Best and most durable fogs I've ever owned.

I'd say $600 tops to somebody who wants vintage.

They're nice lights; you should run them.

Go to ebay and enter Cibie, I think you'll find what you want without giving up an arm or a leg.
