Rear entry overhang

I am building a camper for my truck that will hang out past the bed I am trying to decide which is better or at least what are the positives to either a squared off rear overhang or an angled one? I realize ease of construction for one and departure angle for the other, is there any thing else?

Perhaps thinking about what you'll use the extra length for, which could help prioritize departure and CG issues?

The camper is being built with an 8 ft flippac that is why I have the overhang. As for use it squared would probably help with the toilet placement and extra interior space. But after seeing the angled I didn't know if it would help with entry height or towing/spare tire access.
