Only have a few thousand miles on these 255/85r16 S/T MAXXes but I'm very pleased with them. Only a little bit of offroading as yet, just basic field work, but they haven't disappointed so far.

I had the LT265/75R16 ST/Maxx tires on my Xterra rotated and re-balanced today. After 24,957 miles of use, including two weeklong trips to Moab and dozens of offroading excursions closer to home, I still have 10/32" of tread left. I am estimating that I will get 35,000 miles from these tires before they get to 4/32" tread. That's pretty good for tires regularly abused offroad.

My inclination is to buy another set when these wear out - probably the LT255/85R16 size.
