You are bidding on a 1996 Land Rover Discovery. 124,000 miles. Manual Transmission. Private party in Winchester, VA.
This model is the top of the line SE7 with dual sunroofs, power everything, leather seating for seven. Land Rovers define the ultimate compromise between comfort and go anywhere utility. This vehicle is in good condition, excellent engine and transmission - good clutch, brand new bosch battery. The all aluminum body is in great condition.
On the whole this is a great vehicle for it's age. A few blemishes here and there, but on the whole it's a great, reliable vehicle.
Additional information about the vehicle:
I have service records from the previous owner - the only services I performed were a couple oil changes and replacing the battery. The only leak the vehicle has is from the power steering hoses - which is pretty much standard. The pump itself doesn't leak. No diff, engine or tranny leaks.
The vehicle is definitely a dependable daily driver. Engine and transmission are great. Gas mileage is around 18-20mpg, so not great, but pretty good for the type of vehicle. All the gears work, in high and low range. Center locking diff works. (big deal - but often overlooked.) A/C, heat and radio are all good.

there are some very nice 90s SD models on ebay and cars.com right now but they are automatics. Some are pristine and average $3500
