5th wheel pin to trailer distance

Not very expo but there is a great wealth knowledge hear.

So dose any one know the proper distance from pin to trailer. Looking at others it just seems my 5 er sits way back 96" pin to front of trailer.

It's your short bed that makes it look like that. It needs room from the cab to the pin to be able to turn the truck 90*. The long beds put the pin over the axles. You'll note that Ford factory 5th wheel rigs are only available on the long beds.
