Why would you want to mate a transmission to another transmission?

i know that the NSG370 is interchangeable with the NV3550. if the NV3550 is interchangeable with the AX-15 i don't see why it wouldn't slip right into the spot.
the issue you're going to deal with is transmission mounts. when the NV3550 was introduced in 2003, Chrysler changed the transfer case crossmember on the TJ's to accommodate the different transmission and the Rubicon NP241OR case.
