Its a 1988 280GE with a rebuilt OM617a installed with an air / water intercooler, modified injection pump with 6.5mm elements, VNT turbo project in the works, 6:17 gears, 16 x 8 steel wheels made by Trudesign wheel, Gwagenaccessories spring spacers, 37 x 12.50 super swamper IROK's and hydroboost brakes.

Awesome Kurtis. Is +32et the offset on your TDW wheels?
How do you like the hydroboost brakes? Which kit did you use?

I went ahead and had 285/75R18 (35x11.5") Toyo Open Country MT's mounted on my OE wheels with 0" of lift. They're a tight fit but they DO clear.......barely.
I get some rubbing at steering lock on flat ground, so it's all for show until I get the lift springs on it....and I have to get new front brake lines and a front locker line made and lengthen the wheel sensor wires before I can do that. The lines are all long enough at rest, but I don't want to rip anything loose at full droop.

This should be pretty close to what it will look like after I get the lift springs on it.

Chris (on the clubgwagen forum) was suggesting 2" longer shocks and extending the bumpstops 2". I'll probably end up with something in that range.

Any suggestions? Shoot me a PM.
