Check the load rating, many D rated tires have more than enough capacity to run under large trucks. The D rated 37" Yokohama tires I run can support 3525lbs @ 50psi each.

This is the size and style I've been looking into but I don't know the load rating for them. As I run a big and heavy Suburban load rating becomes an issue!

For now, I use Alcoa 16" x 7" gives me a 3,750 load rating then most every 285/75/16 e has the same 3,750 rating too (yea, stuck at 33"). However, I've yet to find a quality portable tire machine that I can dismount/mount these thick bead/sidewall tires with in the field.

Surely, 2 piece beadlocks solve 99% of tire service issues when away from civilization. The 1% is when a tire is just UN-repairable!

16.5" hummer wheels limit tire selection under the 36" size making it a long wait for replacement tires when more than one (1) is made useless by whatever may rear its ugly head at any given time.

Well I guess I should have clarified, I can’t seem to find an E rated tire in 17” in other than stock size or close to stock size. I would need a 315/70/17 or something close, I have a 4 inch lift and anything <35” looks goofy. But thanks for the list bud..
