New Bilstein Reservoi shocks

First I realized I missed the r in reservoir when posting but I guess that's what I get for not spell checking haha. Anyway after my last set of stock shocks basically quit on me I decided I needed something a little more heavy duty. My main concern was that my front shocks had a bad habit of heating up too much on washboards making the ride horrific. To solve this problem I wanted a reservoir on the front shocks to help keep the oil cool. I have yet to drive them down washboards but I can feel a difference in general driving. I also added some new shocks in the rear for the added weight of my RTT and gear. I will hopefully have the chance to test them this upcoming weekend and post what I think. Anyway here are a few pictures

Are those the new 5160's? I've got 7100's on my LJ, been real happy with them, thinking of replacing the 5100's on the GMC with 5160's or 7100's. Bilstein sure is proud of them though, interesting that 7100's are actually cheaper for some reason.

I put on a set of 5160 and have been very happy so far.

As for pricing, 7100's are generic valving. 5160's are vehicle specific valving.

I've got a few months on the 5160's in my dodge 2500 CTD. Compared to OEM, it's night and day. I think I paid just under $700 for all 4. Washboard roads are so much smoother now, and it helped alot with the bodyroll from my camper. Definitely not the same as Kings, but also less than half the price.

Stock in the rear with bilstein 5100 on the front. I also had been running that set for 60,000 miles though

I have 5100's on my F350....not terribly impressed with them. I mean, better than stockers. but not much. They are a good upgrade if your truck never leaves smooth pavement...and I mean smooth pavement.
