hat to cut the Range Rover motor mounts off
I wish I could work and fab as quick as you do.
lol well I plan to follow in Eric's footsteps and put a 6.2 in my RRC Hunter. With his kit the only real challenge will be taking care of the motor mounts.
I made some spacers to see what is going on between the components at the required space...This is the adaptor plate I have made to fit between the engine and transmission.
to do this conversion , you will also need a concentric spacer between the flex plate and torque converter.
This part needs to be very exact.
and you will need to make changes to the existing 6.2L flex plate to be able to receive the Range Rover torque converter.
There is a spacer needed between the engine block and the P38 torque converter... The P38 4.6L has a larger torque converter
than the 3.9L or 4.0L
