Ok been a while but works getting in the way of playing!
Moved the rapier down to the unit and have taken a second look at my V1 base camp. For now its to big! So re measured the chassis and decided this will fit on the Rapier chassis with out altering it. I'll get some pics when the bodies off but i've drawing the chassis to scale and it has a wicked suspension system.
Need some ideas on build materials now :Wow1:

Tubs off! simply bolted on although well rusted bolts.
Chassis in good nick.
Need to work out the lowering mechanism as they are designed to drop almost to the ground to aid loading......could be a bonus to adjust ride height and pitching.

no point messing about with these old WW2 trailers on leaf springs! Its very sturdy and will be great for what i have in mind
