This is a highly optioned solid truck with aprox 98k orig miles. How clean is it? Well, we just did a 4" lift with new springs/shocks and didn't break a single 35year old bolt!! This beast also got new 285/75-16 ******** Cepek m/t tires on new black steel wheels. New body mounts, oem. Original equipment includes a/c, tilt wheel, 345 V-8 w/ auto tranny, dash mounted pull for 4WD(very rare I'm told), locking hubs, hardtop never removed, etc. I have a good many spares with this truck including radiator, new top seals should you want to remove it- the whole back of the truck is full of spare parts. Also have owners manual as well as shop manuals in original binders.
Pics are forthcoming, as is Ebay ad. Wanted to list her here first for Expo guys. I am having some serious back sx this year and am liquidating the fleet, hence the sale. Asking $15k but open to serious offers- please see my website for pics of previous trucks sold for an idea of quality- thanks for looking. Cheers, Dale

Wow Beautiful Scout!!!
My first was a Scout, amazing vehicles. Nice too see one that isn't beat, or built up weird.
FYI on Pull Actuated 4WD: this means no dual range transfer case (ie Dana 20 / 300) for you prospective buyers.
Not trying too devalue, mine had this and was an easy swap, Plus the remaining Lever on dash makes a great OX locker actuator!! (even says 4wd on dash!)
Good luck with sale, wish I was in a position for one:(

What's the condition for the underside? It looks like there's some rust with the floor supports. Did you ever pull the carpet to see what rust damage it has?

I have a nearly-restored Scout II, '77 that I paid around $10,000 for.

Thanks on the T-case, but I realize the what's/how's etc, but guess the rarity is that they have mostly been swapped out for the 300 twin stick. Originality is about it's only asset...
Good find on restored for $10k. There is no rust and I failed to mention the body mount bushings have been replaced also, and no rust found.
Thanks for looking, and keep the comments coming, as I am no expert on these trucks. I drove one back in the 70's doing survey work while in college- great memories. And hence my desire to have one.

I think it is sold, buyer in In. w/ 3' of snow, so communication is spotty. Deposit received. Part way there.... unless you want to take what I got for the Scout:)
