Old thread, but I figure I would add my two cents.
I've been looking at trailers for over two years now looking for the right answer. Was thinking of buying a military trailer, tear drop or a pro built trailer and Ruger was one of my top choices. Looking back at and seeing a original price of $3500 shocked me. Here in 2019 Ruger has come a long way with their build, electric brakes, 6' box, tail gate, and a lot of options. I finally purchased one with a 6' box like I wanted. Only thing I need is an elevated RTT rack for the annex so I'm working with Steve now. Steve has been great to work with and I know he will exceed my expectations with this build. I'll post some pics after the rack is done and the tent is mounted.
Buy Ruger and you will NOT be sorry!
Update: Steve finished my elevated RTT rack (Steve said it was the first one they have built) for the trailer and it came out great. Just like the his trailers, the rack is sturdy and well built. This will be perfect with the new CVT tent and annex. See pics.
