Hi ,
Can someone please give me the recipe for " pie-hole dough "?.
We don't do / have anything like it over here ( Oz ) , it looks a fun thing to do with the kids when we are camping .
Is it a sweet dough , used mainly for desserts ?.
Would like to help as I have made plenty of pie dough cooking on a chuck wagon, but I am not sure what you are looking for. I did a search for "pie-hole dough" and the only result was back to this thread. If you give us a better idea what you want I am sure you'll have plenty of responses.

This sort of thing .
Looking for a recipe for the dough ... over there you seem to have this dough that you wrap around maybe a stick or small stainless pipe ( bout 1" thick ), hold over the fire to cook and then fill it with either cream / dessert style stuff .
Just thought it would be great for the kids to be able to make their own dessert , a bit of fun for them when we are out and about .
in that link you gave he gives a clue as to what the "pie dough" is. use Grands buiscuts they are large enough to spread over your mandrel (what you cook the buiscut on). I use these for my "cowboy pot Pie" and can see the same textures in what he is using.
Grand biscuts ... is that a pre-made sort of a dough that you can buy over there ?
I will have to look down the shops and see if we have anything like that .
