PRICE DROP! $1200 o.b.o.

Just had a recent change in my employment status...

This is a 1977 Dodge M886. I believe started life in the USMC and later the National Guard. I bought it from my Search and Rescue unit where it spent a number of years as a rope rescue truck. We rarely used it and I was told it has only 24k original miles on it, but you know how that goes, could be 124k...

It runs and drives great, the thing has some torque!

Dodge 318 V8, 727 auto, full time 4x4 (NP203 transfer case), 8 lug Dana 44 with disc brakes on the front, 8 lug Dana 60 in the back. Good 33" BFG ATs. There are some pan seal leaks and valve cover gasket leaks. Power brakes, manual steering. I HAVE ALL PARTS TO CONVERT TO A 4 SPEED: NP435 transmission, NP205 transfer case, and a 5 lug locking hub Dana 44 if you are interested. I will also throw in a 4 bbl manifold with a thermoquad carb (will need a re-build).

The body is in okay condition. There are some small holes in the floorboards. There is some bondo on the upper part of the fenders and around the cab/box seam. The back doors took a beating and do not seal well, but open and close fine.

The interior is remarkably original. Still has the military stenciling on the doors and all the military data plates. All the convoy low-vis lights are still on the truck. The box has all four stretcher racks, the rear heater, vent and lights works.

I can get any other pictures, just ask.

ASKING $1200 OBO.

Located in Fallon, Nevada (1 hour east of Reno).

Is there some unwritten Portal rule that anything you'd be really interested in having is always way on the other side of the country. That's a cool rig with lots of possibilities, I'd love to have it for a work truck, but your a bit to far away for me to bite.

Anyways, good luck with the sale.

Decided to re-list. Make me an offer!

The inside of the box measures 104" long, 75" wide, 60" high. The two top "beds" are removeable so the truck can be used as a troop carrier with bench seats.
