Default Warn VR10000s in an 80 series ARB

Has anyone installed a Warn VR10000s in an 80 series ARB winch bar?
If so how did it go?

My 80 is kind of heavy (7500 empty) but I'm thinking it looks like a good winch.
Obviosuly I'd prefer a 12K but the weight savings and synthetic rope are a big selling point.
With careful rigging I'm thinking the 10K should do just fine.

    Thoughts?

I installed a VR12000 in my ARB. You will need the Warn fit kit and will need some slightly longer bolts. Pretty easy.

I installed the VR12000 in the ARB bumper of my FZJ80 as well, also using the Warn spacer kit. I replaced the factory steel line with synthetic. Used it on two recoveries a couple of weeks ago and it worked great.

I realize this thread is over a year old, however does anyone have the part number for the Warn spacer kit?

    Thanks

We ended up with an M12K and swapped out the steel rope for synthetic, sorry I can't help you with spacer kit part #.
