80 series LC 1FZ-FE engine and trans for sale

Doing an engine and trans swap into my 80 series around July/August time of this year so my existing engine and trans is up for sale.

1994 1FZ-FE 186k, PHH replaced, radiator replaced, hoses and thermostat replaced, new blue fan clutch. Oil changed every 4000 miles, new power steering pump.
Truck has ZERO issues. Never had a head gasket as far as I know.
Pampered engine in a pampered truck.

The truck is scheduled to arrive at Proffitts Cruisers in Colorado within the next few days. If so inclined, I invite you to go out there and listen to it run. You can either pick it up from there or have it shipped.

Asking $1500 for everything.

Can't wait to see the transformation. I can definitely vouch for the new radiator, blue fan, phh and hoses etc. Pretty sure I still have some pics from when they were installed... If I had the garage space I would buy it in a heart beat. Good luck.

Yeah man, finally got all the bits and pieces together - your old rig is about under go one hell of a transformation!

Very tempting Dan! Really wish I had the room to store it as a backup but I'm full right now. If you still haven't unloaded it in a couple of months, maybe we can work out a deal.

I have a lot of good memories of wheeling with my old Rotts in that ride. I'll definitely be keeping track of your build.

Daniel - what engine are you swapping it with? I'll be interested in hearing about your experience with Proffitts.

Swapping in a turbo diesel 1HDFT with a 5 speed manual.
The truck only arrived at their Colorado location 2 days ago so they havent started anything yet. John has been very helpful so far, and I hear nothing but good things about their work.
I dont have the time, skills or tools to do it myself, and want it done right the first time.

Conversion is complete as of this week! I'm headed out to look at it in a week or so then it will be put on a transporter Nashville bound! I will put a thread in the Toyota Land cruiser section soon with pictures and info.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little excited!!! :)

Congrats! You should drive it home :) I'd love to hear how it does in the mountains compared to the 1FZ-FE. BTW - were you able to sell it?
