You will find out how that BMW will change your perception of time & space...
One example:a "quick morning ride, back by lunch" on my HD was about 70 miles, on my R100RS....about 200.
Another: you will ride much faster...due to the very smooth engine and the wind protection....your "speed sense" is being masked...and you need to caution youself not to ride beyond your vision and braking distance.
Nothing complements a bike like that better than top quality protective gear...
