'86 Defender 110 Tithonus modded

Here is an opportunity to have a Defender that was completely overhauled by Land Rover for the MOD!! Only 80k original miles total!! Rust free example that runs great, returning 25 mpg from a fully mechanical diesel engine - zero electronics. So, we took this amazing platform, and modified it to be more civilian friendly, and ready for any adventure. ARB front winch bumper with a Warn 9500HSi winch was fitted, as well a set of Hella 4000's and a LED light bar in front, and a set of LED rears too. Then we added a set of Land Rover sliding side windows to improve visibility and airflow, a rear lift gate/tail gate combo, and even the rear fixed windows as found on civilian Defenders, and a flip up sunroof to allow light and added cooling! Conversely, we retained the original gun mounts (easily removable) yet added a center tray from the Puma style Defenders and waterproof seat covers. In the end, this is a fantastic way to get into a Land Rover Defender designed to be abused, yet refurbished by Land Rover and equipped with many modern amenities! Oh, forgot to mention the obvious Baja roof rack which is tied to the military cage and tires have been upgraded to ultra rare 8.25 Michelin XZLs....
$18,950

NOTE: A spare uncut top and original full rear door can also be included.

The rear hoop of the Tithonus cage- we added tabs, and used rubber pucks above and below to prevent the top from cracking.

Dumb question here, can that rack hold a roof top tent (weight wise?) I'm in Afghanistan right now drooling over all of the Defenders that are out here... wish I could bring one home...

I won't be home until next February, but will definitely be able to pay cash for a Defender. I will have to keep watching your guys trucks, I definitely want one of the MOD Defenders, they are pretty awesome.

The Tithonus trucks are pretty much all gone into private hands. I had two, and the other sold without advertising. We are fortunate to have plenty of room to store it for you if you are ready to purchase, and have it waiting your return home!
