This van was imported from the Netherlands via Germany with no engine. It was converted to a 1.9 AAZ turbo diesel with air to water inter cooler. I purchased the vehicle 4 years ago and set about repairing and fixing the last few items to make it more reliable with sights on a full restoration down the road. After quite a few trips in it we have decided something larger fits our needs better. It was built with back roads and over landing in mind. Simple configuration to maximize space and comfort for 2 people. It can however sleep four quite comfortable with the upper full size bunk and lower queen trifold memory foam mattress. The lower panel behind the galley was replaced as well as the lower panel in front of the passenger rear tire. The sealant at the rain gutters was removed (that sucked) and resealed with Sika UV resistant sealant. Focus has been on mechanics and functionality not aesthetics, but it does look pretty **************! The Westfalia top is incredible and designed with structural members for the Vanagon.
