Opinion about Bimobil

Hi guys! I'm reading the forum since a long but this is my first post. I'm writing from Europe (Italy) and at the moment I'm an happy owner of a Land Rover Defender 110 Td5 which I use for overlanding usually in Africa.
As family is growing we are approching the idea of a global exp.truck. I had a closed look at Bimobil based on an Iveco 4x4 chassis and the EX480 as well and my first impression has been enthusiatic. It seems a good quality with lower price compared with Unicat or Action Mobil.

Any different opinion or impression or suggestion about Bimobil?

Thanks,
Charlie

Welcome to ExPo!

Most BiMobil trucks are aimed at a lower price point than Unicat and Action Mobil. They are not as luxurious, which can be a good thing. The campers are smaller, and ride on less expensive chassis with lower GVM ratings. If the smaller camper will fit your needs, then BiMobil is definitely worth considering.

Here's the BiMobil website (in English) http://www.bimobil.com/website/00_uebersichten/start_e.php

European companies that make off road capable campers that are similar to BiMobil include
Azalai http://www.azalai.co.uk/

More choice!

There's a new home grown option available now too. SBS may be a new brand but it draws on many years off-road experience, not least the years working for the old African Dakar & Pharaohs rallies. Please excuse the shameless plug, I hope you'll find it justified - in our small world we all like to know what's new and interesting!
