    Default Cell Phones?

    http://www.mexconnect.com/articles/3...for-only-14-us

What is everyone doing for phones? I'm on Verizon and they charge $1/minute for roaming in Mexico and I'm not sure what they're coverage is like.
I'm pretty sure my phone is unlocked and will run on a mexican sim if I should buy one. I also have an at&t phone that I'm sure is unlocked and have used it on several different carriers in the past.

Any idea which carrier would be the best to get a prepaid sim from?

I can't answer your question about pre-paid but for those who already have an AT&T plan the "Viva Mexico" add-on is probably the best deal. Though looking at the coverage map it's somewhat limited.

that coverage map doesn't look bad, about the same as Verizon. Look at they're Alaska coverage.... that's what I'm used to. lol

Do you have one you want to sell or recommend a trusted vendor? I don't know much about phone tech and expereinces w/personal phones not always satisfactory

    Snowbear,

Pm sent. Yes we have all the latest factory unlocked smartphones and gadgets. I highly recommend to get a One VCC-A008-XT - Pebble XT portable battery pack charger for emergency back up power.
