Thanks for the wakeup call, Norm. I'm looking at a camperized NZ version at the moment but there are so many deals there I'm thinking about making a trip over and loading a container myself. As much as I love the B series of motors, I'm thinking a HZJ75 might be a better choice with a 1HDT swap. A 6x6 Troopy is gonna be heavy.

Jesse,

I have seen it person, no offence to him but I wouldn't even give him $7000 for it. IMO not worth the $14,000 rare or not. Rusted, beat to death.

Good. I can stop drooling.

I've gotten so used to the Delica, I forgot it's a pretty rare one. :ylsmoke:

There are plenty of newer 80-series with diesel engines that have MUCH less km's on the clock than that one, and for about the same amount of $$$.
340k's is quite a bit...

A Troopie is not the same as an 80 series. Hardly even comparable. That being said, I just bought an HDJ81 in spite of being on the hunt for a troopie for some time. This seller put me off and I decided to drive a mall cruiser for a while. We haven't seen any million km 1HDTs yet but I'd argue that a BJ75 will outlive any 80. My BJ70 is approaching 600,000km.
