89-95 gen toppers?

I have spent hours, and hours scouring the internet trying to find a topper for my truck. I've turned up almost nothing. My only find was snugtop, but I don't have a short bed. I've got an extended cab w/ regular bed. Does anyone know where I can get my mits on one?

I found mine on Craigslist. Dimensionally the standard Toyota bed canopy will fit from a 89-04. The problem is the extra cab vs single cab and the difference in angles. Single cab canopies fit extra cabs without the canopy rubbing on the back of the cab, but not the other way around

Same thing. The regular bed is the short bed and vice versa. Like the other poster said, a canopy from an extra cab won't fit a reg cab, but a regular cab canopy will fit an extra cab. There are tons of them on the craigslist here in Portland. Good luck.

Haha, I didn't even know that. That's why I love these kind of forums! If you don't know something, ask someone who does. I think I'm gonna like it here.

At the bottom of the chart in this link is what I was talking about earlier.

Just to make sure I understand correctly, that means they make the one I need right?

It's weird, they list a short bed 89-95 and a short bed 84-95. The beds from 84-88 are different than 89-95. Not sure why they have a 84-95 listing, strange. I could see that being the case in Africa as the 2nd gen. body style was continued well into the 90's for that market, but not here in the US.

The extra-cab short bed 89-95 is what I assume you're talking about? That should work for your truck...extra cab short bed, right?

Yes, in the listing that's what it says. Second from the bottom. It just threw me off. You would think that a company as large as snugtop would be more specific. I suppose everyone let's things fall through the cracks.
