You know - that's not a bad idea. A small pool of timeshare members and EXPO vehicle owners with the rigs pre-positioned in (say for example) Germany, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Anchorage, the East coast, the West Coast, India, Brazil, England etc, of a specified size and capability, with useage periods up to 6 months.....

I said that half in jest, but it would be cool to do...

One concern would be that it can be a real challenge crossing borders with anything other than a title and registration in the driver's name. i.e. a rental agreement or such may not be sufficient. May be OK in Europe, but for other continents...
