How can ground #12 be a good ground? The only solid metal connection to the body of the truck is via the door hinge. Does that seem like it is a reliable ground? As far as I can tell from the circuit diagram, there are no ground wires in the harness that goes into the door (for the RH stop light). I'm still diagnosing a big current draw from stepping on the brakes. Pulls my volts right down. Looks like the high-mount stop light and the RH stop light both use #12 to complete the circuit.
