Post up your drawer/storage system

Sorry for the late response, just saw this. No thats not it. Thats a compression latch. A slam latch is a latch that doesn't need to be locked or anything just slam the drawer closed and it catches. Nothing else needed. I ended up finding a solution though. I'm about to post what I have so far actually.
Thanks, checking out yours in the thread below, very nice!

Over the weekend I added the Tembo Tusk fridge slide to my Goose Gear cargobox, but not for a fridge.
It is for the Trail Kitchens King Charles chuckbox.

As you can see, the slide needs to come out further, as even if I remove the first aid kit, there is not much room for me to get in there.
Solution is already being discussed with Jerry at Tembo Tusk, going to put on a longer rail system, turn the chuckbox 180 degrees, and I can use it from the passenger side, and not have to take off the first aid kit each time I want to use it.
Right now if I try opening the chuckbox door/table, it hits the right side inside the rig where the tail light is, it only needs to come out about 7" or so for me to drop down the chuckbox door..

I just saw a pic of this on Instagram. I think Timbo Tusk posted the photo. That’ll be a nice setup once you work out the kinks. I was thinking that maybe you could add another slide on top of the one that coming straight back but the second slide would slide to the passenger side. When the table dropped down it would sit right where the slides are and give you room to work also.

Yes, Jerry@Tembotusk reposted my post yesterday.
Thanks, one kink to fix, and it should be really nice.
I think if I had another slide coming out sideways that might get complicated.
t is about a 15 minute job from reading his PDF file on how to change out the sliding track/rail things, and all I need is another 6.5 to 7" to clear the tail light, and I will be good.

Now I had also planned to stack in two of my Alu-boxes next to the chuckbox, but alas the first aid kit is in the way.
When you close the door the first aid kit comes in quite aways.
I can pack other camping equipment there, and put the boxes where I did before, right next to the two tables that are strapped to my fridge.
Now if I can relocate the first aid kit and its quick release mounting plate elsewhere, I will.
I kind of like the idea of having the two boxes stacked next to the chuckbox.

Very nice. Like to see better pics of drawer divider set up. Nice call on sign material.

Not sure what pics you want. I took some close ups of the plastic. On this photo you can see the foam liners. I ended up not doing the rest of the drawers this way. It was too expensive and didn’t really add any benefit. I plan on ordering the lock pins from trekpak though to replace the hanger pins I made. They work just fine but the trekpak pins look nice and aren’t expensive. $10 for 10 pins. The trekpak pins look like plastic but they are metal so quality is there.

That is a very cool idea.
I paid a mint to do my new drawers, and also my 60 liter Alu-Box for my dry food with the pins and TrekPak.

That was a nice setup.

Jerry at Tembo Tusk shipped my longer fridge slides yesterday, and they will arrive on Monday.
My last day of work is this Friday until January the 2nd, so I should have plenty of time to get the new ones installed :D
Will update my thread and here of the chuckbox being able to come all the way out now.

Yesterday, I started in on making the tool drawer side of my system. I bought a two color foam set and started fitting tools in, trying to put the tools I use the most towards the front. Still need to put in (more) screwdrivers, a sparkplug socket, a small box of spare fuses, etc. You can see how much room I still have. Still not sure what will permanently live in the passenger side drawer . . .

Mostly empty drawers:

This is what came in the box from Creative Safety Supply. The foam is a kit for a Craftsman tool chest, but it only needed minor trimming to fit my drawer. The kit has black thick foam, red thin foam, a knife, and Skittles!!

These are the tools that I want to fit in the drawer:

Since I couldn't figure out how to outline the tools on the black foam, I flipped it over and drew on the white sticker stuff on the back and cut through that way. It was not ideal, but it worked out:

The cut out foam:

And with the tools in place. The drawer is only pulled halfway out and there's quite a bit more space to the back:

Overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out. It's not perfect like you see in the pretty pictures on the website, but my tools are secure and organized which makes my OCD happy.
