Coleman peak 1

The 502s and heat drums come up all the time on ebay.

And, Last I looked, Old Coleman Parts had the Kerosene generators for the 550.

For a small, but not backpacking small, stove--You cannot beat a 502 stove. They have not made a new one since 1983, but it is a sweet running stove that will run until the end of time. All parts are still available and much better made than anything since.

For Martin-I went back to CF (Coleman Fuel) for cooking 2 years ago and have not looked back. If you decide to go with a 3 burner, and get a 426B or 426C, your 242 lantern can be packed inside the stove case, which is pretty cool. Like this:

I have used my Peak 1's for many years and they work great. Small, dependable and good little units that cook well. Mine are CF & UL models.

Here is my camp box set up with a pair of Peak 1's and a Peak single mantle lantern.

That's pretty cool but I can't imagine needing a 3 burner stove!

I also have a black-band 200A, a Canadian 200, a Sears 74060 2 mantle, a 275 (turd!) and my most recent acquisition: A 228 "big hat" complete with the original box, dated 12-61: My "birthday lantern!" :D

Does anyone make a replacement for the Coleman Heat Drum now and are parts like the kerosene generator still available for the Coleman Peak 1?

Here is a link to the kero gen: https://www.oldcolemanparts.com/product.php?productid=857&cat=&page=1 . Note this will only fit the 550 stove, not your 508. The only coleman single burner-on-tank that can run kero is the 550. No others. They did make a 445 that can run kero as well like the 550, but the 445 has the remote tank with a fuel line like other backpacking stove. There is also the Coleman Denali backpacking stove can burn kero as well.

They never made a heat drum for the Coleman 550 Peak 1 or the 508, only for the older coleman 500 and 502.
