NEW M101CDN BUILD

Hello all I'm new to this forum and this is the first time posting. Thanks in advance for your wise advice and knowledge. I recently purchased a M101CDN locally and I'm mixed what I want to do with this trailer. I would like your opinion, If I were to build it then sell would you keep it stock looking and just refurbish it or trick it out. I've already had the trailer sand blasted and stripped it down. I fixed 1 rust area and will be replacing the floor. Here are some pic of where I'm at today. Thanks for the help.

If I keep the M101 this is what I'll pull it with. 70' Bronco I did a frame off restoration on.

Does the Bronco have a twin, or is it just sat in front of a huuuuuge mirror?... ;)

If the truck's anything to go by, then I've no doubt the trailer will turn out excellently

PS. Trick it - you know you want to....

Unknown to me the bronco does have a twin. I meet this guy with a bronco similar to mine at Bronco Safari in Moab last May.

Custom axle question. I'm going to build a custom axle and 5x5.5 lugs to fit the same tires which are on my bronco. It's going to be a straight axle 3500 lb. with leaf style springs. How much distance do I need between the tire and trailer body taking in account flex?
I'm figuring 3" may be adequate. What do you all think?

Floor Replaced

I cut the old floor out (PIA) added several supports and a new floor. I went with 14 gauge diamond plate. Also added a 2" receiver on the back for a bike rack or whatever. Also have the new 3500# axle built with brakes. The odd ball leaf springs are being made.

Axle mock up

I got the rest of the parts for the axle and got the custom built springs in. Last night I did a quick temporary mock up to see what it would look like. This weekend I will weld perches on the axle and attach the springs. How does everyone like the wheels and tires. 33" Toyo MT on Ultra wheel. Same as the 70 Bronco.
