I thought it was a good deal too. The thing that keeps me grounded in reality with a rig like this is the gas mileage. But it is ooo sooo tempting. Just about perfect, personally speaking. Very capable, maneuverable, accommodating, ready to go. But watching that needle quickly move towards "E"?...can't do it. Been there done it already.

Smokin' price though.

"12" is a realistic number for a full size bronco in mixed driving, and I bet that bronco with the camper is no heavier than a stock one with its heavy top, tailgate and roof. Subtract 500 lbs for stock parts, add 750 for camper, and you're talking the weight of a husky passenger. (okay, that's optimistic, I'll admit) The highway mileage would suffer most, I'm sure. But perhaps not all that much compared to other rigs with armor and roof racks.

OK, this might save me from booking a flight to Colorado:

Can't tell from the photo, but does it seat 3 for normal driving? (i.e. is there some sort of jump seat or shorty bench arrangement behind the front 2 seats?)

I really like the compact nature of the FS Bronco w/ camper, but I need seating for 3 minimum... And no sideways bench riding seating, real seating that I can strap a car seat into.

The PO of my rig told me he had his blazer weighed as purchased. Then removed the top, seat etc and mounted the FWC and reweighed and it gained 300 lbs, your correct in your guess as adding the weight of a passenger. I honestly can't tell it is on the Blazer due to wgt.

There is no rear seating in my Blazer, just the camper.

The setup looks like mine- 2 buckets and a plastic console; no center seat. But a 3-across bench from an F-series truck should bolt right in. Some Broncos came with them. There are also aftermarket benches with a fold down console/seat in the center. Hope this "helps." :)

On the third seat deal, I wonder if the mounting points for the OE rear seat are covered or accessible? If accessible.....

It looks like they're covered. And I'm not sure about someone sitting back in the camper portion while driving- maybe in a pinch, but in the event of a rollover. . .

In the event of a roll-over, I don't think it'd be that different from stock? Personally, I think it's an awesome combo.... I'd like to hear come more details of what model camper he used and how he got it to fit. The center seat would be easy to create too. It'd have to be custom, but it would be pretty easy to use stock hardware to make the seat reside right in the center and be removable. Even if he closed the hole for the stock hardware, new can be gotten for $10 from a Junk yard, and it's just bolted through the floor from the factory, so you can reproduce it easily in any configuration you'd like. Move the side mounts closer, modify a stock rear bench frame, and your good to go. What a cool deal.
