Brought a 94 Blazer to restore a few months back. I was wanting a 2500 Suburban but decided against it as I have already owned about 6 Suburbans, and wanted a 2 door. I am going to do a simple overland build on this, mainly focused on the interior. It already has a 6" SuperLift on it with 315/75/16s. She's got high miles and puffs a little smoke from time to time, but I plan to keep her running for as long as I can untill it's time to put in another motor.
The end goal with this truck is going to be a dependable daily driver that I can take on camping trips and mild to moderate trails.
Plans Mechanical/Body:
-New tires
-New front and rear bumpers
-Repaint and bodywork
-Replace step bars
-Battery, Plugs, Wires, Cap and air filter
-CV axles need done soon
-Replace shocks
-Replace all window/door seals.
-Rough Country hidden winch mount & winch
-Roof LED pod bar with old school style lights
-A/C compressor and get a/c working
-New headlights
Interior
-Replace seats
-New carpet
-New carpet
-rear Seat belts
For the interior, I am probaly going to build a small platform for sleeping that can be removed if needed for access to the rear seat for passengers.
Here is the first drive I took in it...right to the gas station..lol. First thing I did though was replace the dead battery with an Optima red top I had laying around.
