I bought this in Australia last year when I was over there visiting and exploring the country. I couldn't leave without bringing a little Aussie home with me!

On the Great Ocean Road in Victoria State Australia. We travelled all over Australia for 2 months out of this rig.

while there I found this little gem that begged to come home with me back to the States.

This is the first picture of the ute after I got it back home. I want to use this board to help log the build of rig. First thing I did was remove the bald tires and remove the peeling pin stripe. Next was new 33x10.5x15 BFG KM2's on Rock Crusher Wheels.

Red Hilux at the Port of Tacoma getting ready to come home

Finally at home

Winch is finally installed and first trail ride.

Thanks guys. These things are a blast to drive. I actually prefer to drive the diesel over the supercharged Tacoma. Wife doesn't understand why.

They are actually 2.8 liter 3L naturally aspirated diesel. I am a dealer for Turbo Glide Systems here in North America. I am going to add a turbo the truck when I have a slow period and get the shop into one of my bays!

Yes I brought 2 of them home. The white one I bought just outside of Melbourne Australia. The red one I bought down in Tasmania and rode the ferry back to Melbourne. Both trucks went all over Aussie with me while I was there. I actually sold the red one to a good buddy of mine. The white one I am keeping for my self, however I am in the planning stages of going back to Australia in the next year or so, and I have family over there so I can get another one if I wanted another one. Importing is a pain but doable if you have the right connections and the right sized bank account to pay all the fee's and taxes.
