i have changed the tstat., radiator cap, even flushed the heater core. It work for about ten to fifeteen minutes blowing air at 129 degrees. then back to outside temp. air blowing??? Any help out there....
I have all rady tried this sorry I lert it out...My guess is you have an air bubble in cooling system... One indicator is if you hear water flowing in the cab when you turn on the heater.
If you have an air pocket or air bubble...
- Park facing uphill.
- Remove the radiator cap (assuming engine is cool/cold and there is no pressure in top radiator hose) and make sure radiator is full and no fins can be seen inside the radiator.
- Start the engine and run until full. The water will cycle when the thermostat opens. If the coolant level drops, refill it.
- Repeat until the level in the radiator doesn't drop nor overflow.
