I've got the same compressor and it's great. I agree with not mounting it in the cab since it does get loud. Most of the time I go offroading or camping with the kids and my 6 year old tends to fall asleep at some point, the compressor would sure wake him up. Plus if you ever added air lockers, it would cycle on and off every now and then.
I have a 4 yr old so I'm sure it would scare him in the middle of the night. The engine compartment is cramped so I just have to figure out a good place for it. Still hoping I will have a Manley Trailer soon :camping:
